Specification

Cold Compress: Operates in the range of -10 to 15°C; the cold lasts for 60 minutes or more.
Hot Compress: When the temperature cools down to 40°C, the heat lasts for 60 minutes or more.

Product Structure

The pack consists of the inner content and outer packaging. The main inner components are listed as:
Food-grade sodium carboxymethylcellulose or carbomer, glycerine, super absorbent resin, mineral trace elements and pure water

Intended Use & Users

Cold Therapy: Used to lower temperature via physiotherapy, and to treat sprains  and minor burns.
Hot Therapy: Used for warm and thermal treatment. It is applied to relieve lower back pain, neck pain, somatoform and chronic pain, assist post-exercise recovery, and aid in the recovery of arthritis and strains.

Contraindications

• Do not apply to injuries with inflammation.
• Do not apply directly to the skin, or to injured skin that is bleeding.
• Avoid hot therapy for unconfirmed acute abdomen aches, infected facial areas, visceral bleeding, or parenchyma contusions.

Cautions and Warnings

1. External use only. If the pack breaks and liquid touches the eyes or skin, wash with clean water. If the solution is swallowed, drink plenty of water.
2. Do not puncture with sharp objects, press with heavy objects, strike, or stand on the pack.
3. Do not eat.
4. Do not use on injuries/sprains with inflammatory exudation within 24 hours. Do not use on sensory-impaired patients.
5. Keep out of reach of children and always use under adult supervision.
6. Seek medical advice before use if you have circulatory problems.
7. Cease use if it causes discomfort.
8. Consult a doctor for any health concerns.

How to Use

Cold Therapy: Place the product in the icebox or freezer (minus 15°C) for more than 2 hours.

Hot Therapy:

Microwave Method:
Flatten the pack and ensure the gel is evenly distributed. Place the product in a 1000W microwave oven for 1 minute. If not hot enough, reheat for another 15 seconds until satisfied with the temperature. If frozen, thaw at room temperature before reheating.
Hot Water Method:
Immerse the pack in boiling water for approximately 30 minutes, remove from water, and always insert the hot/cold pack into the towel cover provided.
It is recommended that the maximum temperature not exceed 60°C. Apply hot or cold compress for 15-20 minutes. Repeat every 2 hours as needed.
Reprocessing Instructions: After each use, dry off and store in the refrigerator or a cool place. It can be reused at least 50 times.
